Interview with MCPP’s Director of Research on Auto Insurance
I will be interviewing Mackinac Center for Public Policy Director of Research Michael Van Beek at 11:06 tomorrow morning.
Michael has been looking into the auto insurance reform issue and wrote the following:
State lawmakers are poised to take a huge step towards reforming Michigan’s auto insurance laws. The status quo is unsustainable, producing extraordinarily expensive premiums for drivers, leading to one in five drivers having no insurance coverage at all. House Bill 5013 would give drivers more choice over the type of coverage they could purchase and require insurers to reduce their premiums accordingly. Mackinac Center experts support this bill.
Let us find out why he believes House Bill 5013 is the plan to go with. Join us tomorrow on Live with Renk.
