According to AAA Michigan, this year's 4th of July travel is expected to break records, with 4.17 million Americans flying to their destinations, an increase of 11.2% over 2022 and 6.6% over 2019.

In Michigan alone, more than 1.7 million residents are expected to travel 50 miles or more to their destination, which is 76,000 more travelers than the previous record set last year.
