This Amazing Town Has Been Named The Most Underrated In Michigan

Michigan has so many amazing cities that people love to visit and enjoy.

Off the top of my head, I would say Traverse City, Holland, and Mackinac Island are some of Michigan's most popular places that everyone seems to love.

Traverse City is one of my favorites because of all the amazing wineries.

Also if you've never been to Sleeping Bear Dunes you owe it to yourself to check it out.

My wife Lindsey introduced me to Holland and I fell in love with the beach and the beautiful sunsets.

We both loved it so much that I proposed to her at Holland State Park.

Mackinac Island is a place I've only been to once but look forward to visiting again soon.

It's full of history and has some amazing views.

I recommend riding a bike around the island (It's about 8.2 miles in length)

Just don't make the mistake of renting a tandem bike, that dang thing almost ended are marriage.

I'm sure you have several cities and towns in Michigan that you love as much as I love the ones I mentioned above. But there is a town that some say is the most underrated in Michigan and is worth checking out and showing some love

This Amazing Town Has Been Named The Most Underrated In Michigan

Today's Homeowner picked out the most underrated town in each state and for Michigan, they said Manistee is Michigan's most underrated town.

Manistee was a Michigan lumber boomtown in the 1880s, with more millionaires per capita than anywhere else in the US. Today, the city’s Victorian roots are still palpable, especially on downtown River Street, where quaint boutiques and shops fill the space. The region is so historic that the town created the Manistee Historic Sites Tours, a series of eight-themed tours featuring 100 sites across the county with historic significance (15 of these sites are on the National Register of Historic Places and 20 are Michigan State Historic Sites).

I've never been to Manistee, but It's now on my Michigan Bucket List.
