Another sad closing to report as it was just announced on J-Bird Vintage's Facebook page that they'll be permanently closing up shop for good. For some time now, this little shop was the go to for vintage clothing, jewelry, and other off the wall items to fit that style. Jayne made the announcement expressing her appreciation for everyone who made it a regular stop:

I first want to say a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you for helping to make J-Bird a successful and meaningful business. It has been one of the great joys of my life seeing this dream come true and this would not have been possible without your love and support. For that I am forever grateful, truly. It has also been an honor and a privilege to be a part of the Vine Neighborhood and the Kalamazoo Business community. I’ve learned so much and am thankful for all the relationships made along the way.

Although Covid 19 was a major hit for all businesses, she apparently sights personal reasons for the store's closure:

Closing J-Bird has been a difficult decision, but this past year, more than ever, has shown that it’s time to prioritize my health, time, family and friends . So, it’s with a full heart, some sadness, but mostly lots of love that we’ll be closing in April, 2021.

They're having a closing sale, selling everything in the store from February 1st until April 11, unless they sell out early. Anyone who has questions can email Jayne at Jbirdvintage@gmail.com.
