Start saving those big screen TV boxes for the cardboard sled races at Kalamazoo Parks & Recreation's Winter Jamboree, February 6 at Milham Park Golf Course.
Registration is at 11 and the races begin at 12 down the big hill! Prizes for the winner or a single-elimination tournament and also for the most attractive looking sled.
There will also be ice bowling and you can build an igloo or a snowman. Bring your cross-country skis or, for a fee you can rent some and take to the snow-covered fairways. Pre-registration is required for rentals, details here.
