Learn to Pair Food with Different Styles of Beer at KVCC
New to the world of craft beer? Not quite sure what foods go well with different styles of brews? Well, you're in luck! Kalamazoo Valley Community College is holding Beer and Food Pairing Workshops during their Spring Semester. Each workshop is $50.00 and includes four beers and four food flights. Join Chef Lucas McFarland and Brewer Brian Lindberg, for a casual and fun evening of exploration! These classes would make a great date night, unique party, or way to bust up the winter rut. Monday, January 27th, 6:00-7:30According to Kegworks, German brewers created a number of different styles of lagers and ales, all while following Reinheitsgebot, the Beer Purity Law, that mandated all beer can only be made from barley, hops and water. Take this course and you’ll be an expert at your next Oktoberfest.
