It's not a get rich quick scheme, but if you have an talent in real estate, here is a possible opportunity to either pick up some land and/or to flip it.

This is because Michigan's Department of Treasury is auctioning off more than 200 tax-foreclosed properties in eight Michigan counties between August 2 and September 4,

The properties are all over the state. Many in depressed areas, but  counties like Branch, Clinton, are on teh list along with Iosco, Keweenaw, Livingston, Luce, Mecosta and Shiawassee. All the residential and commercial properties on the auction block are  foreclosures for delinquent property taxes.

Individuals will have the opportunity to bid for parcels online at www.tax-sale.info or in-person at designated sites on the following dates:

August 2, 2019 – Iosco County
August 8, 2019 – Luce County
August 10, 2019 – Keweenaw County
August 17, 2019 – Mecosta County
August 29, 2019 – Branch County
September 4, 2019 – Clinton, Livingston and Shiawassee counties

the release from the Department of Treasury contains all the usual warning: "Potential bidders assume the responsibility to thoroughly research property with the municipality in which the property is located". But it is smart to at least look over the Auction Rules and Frequently Asked Questions on www.tax-sale.info prior to participating in any of this.
