If you love staring into the dark sky but find too much light obstruction, Cass County, Michigan is offering an International Dark Sky Park.

They just don't hand that designation out lightly. Click here to see the full story.

The 820-acre park, nine miles east of Cassopolis, is only the second park in Michigan to be bestowed with this distinction.

An official celebration of the International Dark-Sky designation is scheduled to coincide with the Michiana Astronomical Society’s annual “Star Party” at the park, April 24-26.

They also offer a disc golf course, bike riding trail, fishing and more.
