Need Extra Cash? JCPenney in West Michigan is Hiring 150 Seasonal Workers

With the upcoming holiday's businesses could use all the help and you could use the extra cash (or discount in this case).

Tuesday, October 15th is National Hiring Day and JCPenney is partaking in the event by hiring 150 workers, for various positions, throughout the Grand Rapids area including Woodland and Rivertown Crossings Mall. Some of the jobs include cashiers, beauty consultants, HR positions, working in the salon and Sephora, etc. Seasonal workers will get a 25% discount and flexible scheduling.

The event will be held from 2p-8p and managers will be there doing on-site interviews with the potential of getting offered a job on the spot. Everyone is encouraged to apply regardless of experience or skills.

According to JCPenney, they're looking to fill around 37,000 positions across all their stores, call centers, and facilities. The company is expected to hire 1,150 people in Michigan alone.

In addition, to intice associates, the department retailer will offer prize packages.

Sixteen packages – each worth $2,500 – are available and range in size from tangible gift bundles to travel opportunities...
