Ohio Woman Breaks Into Home And Attempts To Bathe Toddler
A Columbus, Ohio mother recently woke to an unimaginable event taking place in her home.
22-year-old Elizabeth Hixon was arrested after one of the most bizarre burglaries you'll ever read about. Areica Hill, the mother of the 2-year-old boy had this to say to WCMH,
I get up and I walk to my door and the way my house is set up, I can look down the hall. I see a white female lady, bent over the tub, with my 2-year-old in the tub.
Hill and her boyfriend got the woman away from their child and held her until police arrived.
Why on earth would someone break into a home and attempt to give a toddler a bath? The suspect told police that she found the child outside so she took him in to take care of him. I have a hard time with this excuse. What's the first thing you would do if you find a 2-year-old outside? Maybe knock on the door of the house you think he belongs to? Maybe call the police? Breaking into the home you think the child resides, then bathing him isn't in my top 100 things I would do.
The woman has been charged with burglary and the investigation is ongoing.
