When the Pennfield Panthers take the field Friday, September 20th, there will be more than just the student-athletes and a game of football being celebrated.

The Panthers are honoring the brave men and women of the armed forces and veterans who have served in their Military Appreciation Night. All current armed forces members and veterans will valid military ID will be able to get in free to the contest against the Coldwater Cardinals at 7pm. Gates open at 6pm.

The Panthers will be wearing special jerseys to commemorate the evening that will be later sold as a fundraiser. T-shirts will also be available for purchase. All funds will be donated to Veterans Helping Veterans of Southwest Michigan, a non-profit organization and a vocal advocate for the area's homeless and displaced veterans. The event in 2017 against the Olivet Eagles raised nearly $4,000 for the local program.
