For now, the Growlers have announced all home games are on pause until the water can recede. They are working on a plan for future games, and scheduling.
I mean their entire baseball field is flooded with over a foot of water. This is not the first time they have had to deal with this. In fact, this is a regular issue because of where Homer Stryker Field is located. Unfortunately, this is an issue that can arise during the regular season as well and has in the past.
The Kalamazoo Growlers revealed an alternate logo for opening weekend paying "homage" to Kalamazoo's beer history". The logo is a fierce, brown jug with a handlebar mustache.
The City of Kalamazoo has enlisted a heard of sheep to clean up the grounds for Homer Stryker Field and says this crew will be helping at area city parks this summer.
