Trump Free Zones?

Yesterday the Mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel declared Chicago schools as “Trump-free” zones according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Mayor Emanuel was quoted in the article stating:

To all the Dreamers that are here in this room and in the city of Chicago: You are welcome in the city of Chicago. This is your home. And you have nothing to worry about.  Chicago, our schools, our neighborhoods, our city, as it relates to what President Trump said, will be a Trump-free zone. You have nothing to worry about, and I want you to know this, and I want your families to know this. And rest assured, I want you to come to school … and pursue your dreams.

Forrest Claypool, the CEO of Chicago Public Schools stated the school system is a “sanctuary” for undocumented students.  He was quoted in the article stating:

We do not allow federal agents on these grounds and in this building,” he said, the Sun-Times reported. “You are safe and secure here to learn, to grow and to pursue your dreams and we hope that you do so.

With all the crime occurring in Chicago and the schools it appears that they do not allow much if any policing to happen in their schools and some of their communities.

Mayor Emanuel why don’t you declare your worn torn city to be a violence free zone?

Also mayor what about your citizens and people who are in your city legally, are they just second class citizens to you and your administration?
