Virginia County Allows Sexually Explicit Books In Their K–12 Classrooms
Children should be taught diversity, but is there a line that should not be crossed when teaching children “diversity”?
I believe so and the Loudon County Virginia School Board obliterated that line. Interesting, again a line is drawn in the sand and liberals pay no attention to it.
The Loudon County Virginia Public School Board brought a new initiative to their classrooms called the “Diverse Classroom Library Initiative.” As part of this new initiative they place thousands of books in their school districts classrooms and libraries.
According to reporting by The Daily Signal, as well as a board meeting video we find that the books focused on:
sexual diversity”, contain sexually explicit language, including “frequent descriptions of underage drinking, fondling, masturbation, orgasms, oral sex, sexual intercourse, sexual abuse, statutory rape, incest, and rape.
These books even promoted the LGBT lifestyle and ideology to their kindergarten students. They were given books such as “My Princess Boy,” designed to introduce 5- and 6-year-olds to the, what some might say is the harmful idea that they can change their gender. They were also introduced to a book titled, “Heather Has Two Mommies”. This book informs the kindergartners the fathers are really not needed past their genetic material.
The article also informed us on other books given to these young children in Loudon County Public Schools were given to read such as:
- “Prince and Knight” (second grade)
- “Beyond Magenta: Transgender Teens Speak Out”
- “Some Girls Bind”
- “Weird Girl and What’s His Name” (positively featuring statutory rape between a young boy and his boss, and a relationship between a girl and her teacher)
- and “Being Jazz: My Life as a Transgender Teen.”
Now comes the interesting part, many parents were not happy with the school board due to the extreme graphic nature and the obscene language in the books. So at the next board meeting they went and read some passages aloud and at the mic to these very same board members who approved the books to be placed in their K-12 classrooms.
One of the brilliant board members, Joy Maloney, who approved the books to be placed in the K-12 classrooms got upset and stated that their meeting was not an “appropriate setting” to hear such language.
So she thought that language was appropriate for their K-12 classrooms but not for her virgin ears in their board meeting.
This is another example of the level of intelligence that we are seeing in the Democratic Party and their liberal members. They claim to be the intelligent ones, but when proven to obviously not be the Party of intelligent ones they must yell at us even louder and inform us that they are the intelligent ones and those of us on the right are “bitter” and “cling to guns or religion” and have “antipathy toward people who aren't like” us.
Go ahead and keep thinking that because the alternative and truth will only make yourselves feel worse and face reality, we would not want you to do that would we.
