WKMI talk show host Larry Kudlow has accepted the top economic advisor job in the Trump White House, replacing departed Gary Cohn, who quit over Donald Trump's tariff policy.Kudlow, whose show was heard on Sunday afternoons at 1pm on WKMI, also worked in the Reagan White House. In recent years, economist Kudlow has also been a staple on business news channel CNBC and on their website.

The Washington Post says while Kudlow has been critical of Trump's tariff policies, Trump seems to understand and accept the disagreement. The Post also reports Trump has been an unofficial advisor to Trump since the 2016 presidential campaign.

As far a replacement for Kudlow on WKMI, no decision has been made on who or what will replace Kudlow's show.
