How Is it Possible Mackinac Island Doesn’t Own the World Record For Largest Piece of Fudge?
Is there anything more synonymous with Mackinac Island than fudge? So it might surprise you to know there's a world record for the largest piece of fudge, and it doesn't belong to Mackinac Island.
The official Guinness record is held by the Northwest Fudge Factory in Levak, Ontario, Canada.
The fudge slab weighed in a 2.4 metric tons and was created in October of 2019.
Slightly smaller than the record-holder, but we suspect better tasting, check out one of the Island's classic fudge shops, Murdick's, in action.
