Gas Pumps Destroyed at Columbia Avenue Speedway in Battle Creek

A pump at the Speedway gas station on Columbia Ave (M-96) in Battle Creek was destroyed following an accident today (8/8/16).

The incident as described by workers happened when one vehicle hit the pump and was then rear-ended by another.

All of the pumps at the Speedway were shut down following the accident for safety precautions. The convenience store remained open.
