Here’s Your Chance to Go to Canada If Your Presidential Candidate Loses
It's a classic threat come election season -- "I'm moving to Canada if [insert candidate's name here] wins." Well, now you can.
WJBQ, in Portland, Maine, is putting on a promotion for our times. After Tuesday's presidential election, DJ Lori Voornas will gas up her car and take four lucky -- or is that unlucky? -- voters who are unhappy about who won and head to Montreal for an overnight visit to a historic city over the border that perhaps they'd like to call home now that either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton won the election.
So, call your realtor to put your home on the market, clean out your bank account of American dollars, get ready for Tim Hortons to be your new favorite restaurant and prepare to learn the words to "O, Canada."
It's location scouting, election style.
