Is The Face Of Racism The Black Face Of Virginia Democrats
What is going on in the Virginia Democratic Party?
We first start off this dark episode of Virginia Democratic politics with their Governor, Ralph Northam, who allegedly was caught appearing in black face or a KKK outfit when he was in his mid-twenties back in medical school. We then move on to the Lieutenant Governor being legitimately accused of sexual assault and then end, at least for now with the Democrat Attorney General admitting that he wore black face when he was 19 years old.
Again I ask what is going on in the Democratic Party in Virginia. Then ask yourself in what ideology the true evil of deep seated racism and bigotry lies.
The Washington Free Beacon is reporting on all three of these cases.
As reported in the Washington Free Beacon they stated:
Gov. Ralph Northam (D.) started the wave of scandals when a photo surfaced last Friday showing a man in a Ku Klux Klan hood next to a man wearing blackface. The photo was on Northam's Eastern Virginia Medical School yearbook page. Northam apologized for the photo at first, but then during a press conference denied he was one of the individuals in the photo.
The article then moves on to inform us of the issue surrounding the Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax when they reported:
Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax (D.) faces a sexual assault allegation. Vanessa Tyson, an associate professor of politics at Scripps College in Claremont, Calif., came forward publicly as the woman accusing Fairfax of sexually assaulting her in 2004 at the Democratic National Convention.
Remember we were lectured by the Democratic Party last summer that all women are to be believed and you are guilty until proven innocent in these types of cases.
The report then moves onto the Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring (D.) when he released a statement on Wednesday in which he admits to wearing blackface during a college party in 1980. The AG stated:
In 1980, when I was a 19-year-old undergraduate in college, some friends suggested we attend a party dressed like rappers we listened to at the time, like Kurtis Blow, and perform a song," Mark Herring wrote in a statement. "It sounds ridiculous even now writing it. But because of our ignorance and glib attitudes — and because we did not have an appreciation for the experiences and perspectives of others — we dressed up and put on wigs and brown makeup.
Is it right to hold the entire Democratic Party guilty of racism and/or bigotry? Can we pull out the wide paint brush and paint the entire party and their political ideology as racist and/or bigots.
No, we cannot!
What this does show us is that a party and ideology that wants to paint an entire party and ideology as racist and/or bigots, that being Republicans, must stop what they are doing for political gain.
Racism and bigotry is not rooted in any one political ideology but it is rooted in individuals who harbor such cruel, ignorant and evil thoughts.
So all of the people who use their wide paint brushes to paint an entire ideology must put those paint brushes away and worry about truly condemning racism or bigotry where they find it. They will find it in individual’s not political ideologies.
