After waking up with more chest congestion and having to go out in 10 degree weather to warm up my car before work, I'm ready for it to be spring. I'm over winter. The Kalamazoo Farmers Market has officially done their part in brightening up my morning and to help think warm thoughts with the announcement of their Opening Day in 2020 on May 2nd. Rejoicing in their Facebook post:

Join us for the opening day of the Kalamazoo Farmers Market! Come say hello to your favorite farmers and makers, and enjoy a morning stroll through the market while you shop for locally grown produce, meat, cheese, bread, art, and more!

We accept multiple forms of food assistance currencies, such as EBT, WIC and SENIOR Project Fresh. Those using EBT can also double their money through Double Up Food Bucks, which matches up to $20 for Michigan grown fruits and vegetables. To try it out, visit us at the Office in the middle of the market.
