It's always tricky predicting weather 3-5 days out, but Memorial Day weather in Kalamazoo should be ok, but maybe not quite as dry as we'd like it to be.

Lots of folks will be headed up North, to open up cottages, put up docks, etc. Or you might be staying in the area, and doing some camping this Memorial Day holiday. There's plenty to do.

Here's what the forecasters from the National Weather Service have up:

Friday
A 20 percent chance of showers after 3pm increasing to 40% overnight. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. Then down to 56.
Saturday
A 20 percent chance of showers before 9am and then it's 50/50 on Saturday night for showers and thunderstorms. During the day, Partly sunny, otherwise with a high near 77.
Sunday
A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Figure on partly to mostly cloudy, and temperatures in the low 70's
.
Memorial Day
The coolest day of the three day weekend. If it's going to rain, it'll be during the midday hours, and again late at night. The high temps will be only around  70.
What does the all mean? Chances are, everything you want to do, you'll be able to do, but you might be interrupted by some rain for a while.
