Last night, I watched what had popped up on my Google search on scary movies related to Michigan. I probably should have looked closer into this one, even though it has "Monsters" in the title. I thought, "Great! A monster movie!"

Nope...totally a crap movie that just happened to have monsters in the background.

Seriously, Monsters: Dark Continent is terrible. Not terrible as in low-budget, but terrible as in, the monsters have pretty much NOTHING to do with the story, and the movie seems to cast our soldiers in a negative light.

Screw you, movie.

You can totally pass on this one, as it's not truly a horror movie, and Detroit is only where the four friends come from, and is seen only at the beginning, as the characters talk about how terrible it is, and how much they want to leave.

THE GIANT MONSTERS IN THE TITLE THAT PRECIPITATE THEIR SIGNING UP FOR THE MILITARY DON'T REALLY DO ANYTHING, NOR DO THEY SPEND ANY APPRECIABLE TIME IN THE FILM FIGHTING THEM. WTF?

Literally, all the monster fighting is seen in the trailer. The trailer makes it look like a cool, scary monster movie. And it's not. Screw you, movie.

Sorry for including this one on the list, but I watched it, so wanted to share my experience, so you won't waste your time on it. It's free on Netflix, but not worth your time.

Seriously, screw you, movie.
