In a website Q & A, Tim Allen touts Michigan's beauty and it being a vacation destination.Brandchannel.com asked Allen five questions about the Pure Michigan campaign. It sounds like Allen is not only proud of the state, but of the campaign, as well.

"For a short period of time at least, between the Fourth of July and late August, there’s nothing better."

He doesn't care for the possibility of the ad campaign being eliminated through budget cuts.

"That’s politics—they always go for the low-hanging fruit,"  Allen said.
