WMU Grad’s Burlesque Show Coming to Kalamazoo State Theatre

The Lalas, a Los Angeles-based burlesque show, will be at the Kalamazoo State Theatre on Friday, Sept.18 at 8 p.m.

The show promises "a wild night...(of) brains, beauty and bustiers."

The burlesque show was developed by Erin Lamont, a choreographer and Western Michigan University graduate from right here in Kalamazoo.

By day, you’ll find the women of the Lalas on tour with some of today’s post popular artists, such as Lady Gaga, and on hit TV shows, including Tosh.O, and Lifetime’s Little Women LA and The People’s Choice Awards, to name a few. By night, they are the Lalas.

These talented women bring comedy, beauty and a little audience interaction to Kalamazoo for a night you won’t forget.

The show is 21 and older and tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the State Theatre box office.
