It's time for a few more photographs from the WKMI archive. We had a very positive reaction to the first round of photos, and we hope these will bring back memories, or at least give a glimpse of downtown in times past.

This time, we think the WABAC Machine (or "Wayback Machine" is a time machine from the segment "Peabody's Improbable History," a recurring feature of the cartoon series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show) has stopped in the mid 1950s.

WKMI's studios at the time were located in the Kalamazoo State Theatre building on Burdick at Lovell Street in downtown Kalamazoo.

Please remember to check back every few weeks. We hope to keep this as a regular feature on WKMI.com.

If you can identify the people in these photographs or know the circumstances, please feel free to share your stories in the comments below or on our WKMI Facebook page.
