Woman Who Was Born at Flint Hospital is Looking for Her Birth Mother
Hopefully, we'll get a positive follow-up to this story!
A Grand Blanc woman who was born to a teenage mom at St. Joe's in Flint in 1983 is hoping that social media will help her find her birth mother.
Carolyn Smith posted the following message on Facebook:
My name is Carolyn Smith and I was given up for adoption at birth in April of 1983. I was born at St. Joe’s hospital in Flint, MI. My birth mother was only 14 and did what I feel was best for me. However, now that I am older I would like a chance to meet her...if she wants to meet me that is. I have tried a few other avenues, including DNA testing, but have not had any luck.
I am asking that you please share this in order to help better my chances of finding out where I came from.
Thank you!! 🙏🏼 😊
If you think about it, it's a great time to search right now - everybody is sheltered in place and hanging out online.
Good luck, Carolyn! Please let us know if you find her!
