Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. this Sunday, November 3. Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before heading to bed Saturday night. Back when I was on that work on the weekends grind, I loved it because every hour of sleep counted. Let's be realistic, it still does. But the tradition of "falling back" an hour means you get back the hour of sleep you lost when Daylight Saving Time started in March. It was actually started in 2007 officially as Daylight Saving Time starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.

If you're from Arizona or Hawaii originally or currently you know none of this means anything, as those two states are the only U.S. states that don't observe Daylight Savings Time. Along with those states, U.S. territories such as American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands also ignore DST. So if any of those apply to you, disregard this. Enjoy your warm weather.
