Like Others Is Kalamazoo County Running Out Of Ground Water?

Cities and counties in Michigan have certainly had major problems with water the last few years.  There's the Flint situation that still isn't close to being resolved and many have already forgotten.  Right here at home we've continue to deal with the PFAS issues which don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.  Now we may be dealing not with water quality but instead water availability.

In an article on wzzm13.com, apparently running out of water is a real possibility for a West Michigan county just up the road.  Officials in Ottawa County are saying that since the 1970s, the static water level in the aquifer system has gone down 40 feet.  Now, I would've thought that a state like Michigan should never have a problem with the availability of clean water but the truth is this attitude may be an obstacle to reversing the trend.  Get more information by clicking HERE.
