Plainwell Teen Killed After Crashing Into Home
A Plainwell teen was killed after her car crashed into a home yesterday morning.
Around 9am Tuesday, authorities say that 18-year-old Murphy Peters drove through a stop sign at 102nd Avenue and M-40 in Allegan County, and was struck by a delivery truck. Peters’ car then crashed into a home, apparently killing her instantly.
The delivery driver was not injured.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office says that the teen driver may have been distracted by a cell phone at the time of the crash. The home was severely damaged, but no one else was injured.
