Tigers beat the New York Yankees 4-3.

The Detroit Tigers beat the New York Yankees 4-3 Tuesday night in the Bronx.     First baseman John Hicks hit a three-run homer.    Justin Upton added a solo shot off CC Sabathia. Anibal Sanchez started and pitched into the 7^th inning for the win. Sanchez gave up two runs on six hits for his third win against one loss. New closer Shane Green was called on with one out in the 8^th.  He gave up a run scoring single and walked two, but did the job for his first save.  Jordan Zimmermann starts for the Tigers today against the Yankees.   Hear the game at 12:40 on 95.3 WBCK.
