Weiser Elected State Republican Chairman

Michigan Republicans elected former chairman Ron Weiser back into the position Saturday afternoon in Lansing.Quoted on MLive, Weiser told the Michigan State Republican convention, "United we win, divided we lose,"

Weiser is no stranger to the position, having previously served as chairman in 2010, when the party made major gains in Michigan. He also was ambassador to Slovakia under George W. Bush, and was elected recently to the Univ. of Michigan Board of Regents.

Weiser was recently on guest on WKMI's local Live with Renk Show, heard weekdays at 9am.
